5 Father’s Day Raffle To Support “Lions Prostate Cancer Research” Runaway Bay Lions Club are holding a Father’s Day Raffle at Runaway Bay Centre 2nd to 5th September 2026 - 10am to 3pm. Tickets will be available at Runaway Bay Centre near Suncorp Bank. Raffle will be drawn at 3pm Saturday 5th September 2026 at Runaway Bay Centre. Lions Clubs of Australia have contributed $3.7 million since their involvement with Mater Prostate Cancer Research Centre, which has assisted in the purchase of life saving equipment such as an ultrasound system designed for precision targeting, enhancing prostate cancer biopsy accuracy and outcomes for patients. Funds were also used for research projects, such as Immunotherapy which uses the body’s own immune system to fight and destroy prostate cancer.
