Specialising Garden Makeovers & Rejuvenation * Garden Care * Plant Selection * Soft Landscaping It’s spring! Garden lovers will be spoiled with two wonderful events on one weekend, and with spring flowering all day every day at Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens. This year’s Springtime on the Mountain has six fabulous private gardens open to visitors, including four open to the public for the first time. Expect contrast from a century-old garden and a young garden just two years old. Explore expansive gardens on acreage, as well as gardens on compact blocks, and both formal and informal styles. Organised by Tamborine Mountain Garden Club, and now in its 40th year, Springtime on the Mountain is open from 10am to 4pm on Friday 26th September to Sunday 28th. Visitors are invited to see gardens celebrating the arrival of spring with exuberant bursts of colour, while some gardens welcome you with their serenity. All will delight. The six open gardens provide an opportunity to wander along garden pathways, explore planting choices, and see garden solutions. Be inspired and discover how to brighten a narrow walkway, deal with a slope, or create play areas. Perhaps get ideas for a quiet spot to gather under the shade of a tree in summer or an open space around but drop into the Friends centre between 10am and 2pm for maps or information. The 25th Annual Gold Coast Rose Society Rose Show, held at Robina Community Centre starts on Saturday 27th September at 11.30am and is open until 4pm. On Sunday 28th, the show is open from 9am until 4pm. Breathe in the fragrance as you enter the auditorium and marvel at the flower quality and variety. There are quality potted roses for sale as well. September is a great time for discovering the various plant collections across the whole Botanic Gardens.
