Readers can expect exciting appearances from beloved Seven Sisters characters, and will discover how their lives have been shaped during the last twenty years. This is Orlando’s story . . ` Author Information Lucinda Riley was born in Ireland, and after an early career as an actress in film, theatre and television, wrote her first book aged twenty-four. Her books have been translated into thirty-seven languages and sold forty million copies worldwide, and she was a No.1 Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller. Lucinda died in the summer of 2021. Harry Whittaker grew up in the 1990s and spent the first few years of his life on the rural west coast of Ireland, with a poor TV signal (and certainly no iPad). It was therefore left to his mother to entertain him, which she did through telling him stories. As a result, Harry has become a storyteller himself, as an awardwinning radio presenter for the BBC and a member of one of the UK’s most renowned improv troupes, who perform all over the UK. 3 Why the School Holidays Are the Smartest Time to Learn to Drive For most teenagers, getting a driver's licence sits somewhere between exciting and terrifying — and for parents, it's often just terrifying. But there is one window of the year that makes the whole process noticeably easier: the school holidays. During term time, driving lessons compete with homework, sport, part-time jobs and everything else in a teenager's schedule. A lesson squeezed between school pick-up and dinner is rarely anyone's best work. In the holidays, that pressure disappears. Students arrive relaxed, focused and ready to actually absorb what they're learning — and with nothing else competing for their attention, skills tend to stick faster. The holidays also allow for something term time rarely does: momentum. Skills like hill starts, merging and roundabout judgement are built through repetition within short timeframes. Spreading five lessons across five school weeks means re-learning each time. Fitting them across a single fortnight means each lesson builds directly on the last, and the gap between learner and confident driver shrinks dramatically. It's not just for teenagers, either. Plenty of adults return to driving after years away, or prepare for an aged driving assessment. The holiday period offers the same advantage: calmer roads during the day, more flexible availability, and time to rebuild confidence properly rather than in fragments. There are practical considerations, of course. Queensland requires 100 logged hours of supervised driving before a learner can sit their practical test, and the holidays are an ideal time to start banking those hours with a professional instructor before adding family supervised sessions on top. Driving is one of life's most useful skills, and one of its most confidencebuilding. Giving learners the time and headspace to do it properly is an investment that pays off every single day afterwards — for them, and for the parents doing the supervising. Spotto Driving School offers manual and automatic lessons across the Gold Coast, including night lessons and pick-up from home. Call 0417 855 512 for a chat.

Try somewhere new, accept that invitation or simply change your usual routine. A little spontaneity could be just what you need. GEMINI - Your social side is shining this month. There could be plenty of conversations, catch-ups and invitations competing for your attention. An old friend may reappear with an interesting story — and you’ll have plenty of your own to share! CANCER - November is a good month to spend quality time with the people who make you feel at home. A family gathering or relaxed lunch could provide plenty of laughs. You may also finally find the motivation to finish a job around the house that has been waiting patiently. LEO - You’re ready for a little fun, Leo, and November won’t disappoint. Accept an invitation, enjoy a day trip or organise a catch-up with friends. Someone may ask for your opinion on an important matter — and you certainly won’t be short of one! VIRGO - You may start the month with plans, lists and good intentions, but remember to leave some room for doing absolutely nothing. A slower pace could help you notice an opportunity that might otherwise pass you by. LIBRA - November brings opportunities to socialise and reconnect. You could find yourself enjoying a conversation with someone you haven’t seen for ages. A small decision you’ve been putting off may also become surprisingly easy once you stop overthinking it. It doesn’t have to involve a plane ticket — a new restaurant, local attraction or spontaneous day trip could be enough. Keep your calendar flexible and your sense of adventure ready. CAPRICORN - November encourages you to take a break from being the person everyone relies on. Let somebody else organise things for a change! A financial or household decision may also work out better than expected, giving you one less thing to worry about. AQUARIUS - You could find yourself drawn towards something completely different this month. A new hobby, group or activity may catch your attention. Give it a try — you never know where a little curiosity might lead. PISCES - November brings a more relaxed and optimistic mood. Spending time outdoors, enjoying the garden or simply sitting somewhere pleasant with a cuppa could do wonders. Someone close may also share some news that gives you plenty to smile about.

7 Choosing Comfortable Eyeglasses Choosing the most comfortable eyeglasses is essential, given the amount of time we wear them each day. Glasses are like an extension of our body, and a perfect fit can make a world of difference. Here’s a guide to help you choose the most comfortable eyeglasses. Determine the Type of Eyeglasses You Need The first step is ensuring your eyeglasses improve your vision. Start with an accurate, up-to-date prescription. Then, think about the type of lenses that suit your lifestyle and visual needs. Some options include: • Single-vision lenses: For nearsightedness or farsightedness. • Multifocals: For those who need multiple focal points. • Reading glasses: For presbyopia. • Prism lenses: To correct disorders like double vision. • Plano lenses: For changing your look without prescription correction. • Prescription sunglasses: Offering both UV protection and vision correction. Consider lens coatings and add-ons like anti-glare or blue light filters, especially if you spend time in front of digital screens. These can enhance comfort and protect your eyes. Match Your Eyeglasses to Your Face Shape Next, consider your face shape. Selecting frames that suit your face helps distribute the weight evenly, avoiding pressure points on your nose, temples, or cheekbones. The goal is to find glasses that feel like a natural part of your face—lightweight and barely noticeable. Know Your Measurements Accurate measurements are key to a comfortable fit. Important dimensions include frame width, lens width, temple length, and bridge width. The bridge, the horizontal distance between the lenses, plays a significant role in weight distribution on your nose. Here are a few tips: • The bridge should not feel tight on your nose. • A slight gap between the glasses and your nose is acceptable. • If the bridge is too wide, your glasses will slide down. • If too narrow, they will create pressure on your sinuses. Consider Your Lifestyle and Personality Your lifestyle also influences the comfort of your eyeglasses. If you have an active lifestyle—whether in sports or outdoor activities—look for durable, flexible materials like polycarbonate. These are impact-resistant and lighter than traditional plastics, reducing strain on your nose and ears. For those who spend hours in front of screens, lenses with blue light filters can reduce eye strain. On the other hand, if style is your priority, lightweight materials such as acetate can offer both fashion and comfort. Choosing comfortable eyeglasses requires careful consideration of your vision needs, face shape, measurements, and lifestyle. Are You Ready? As the cold winter weather makes way for warmer days, spring is a great time to sell your home. But how do you make it stand out from the crowd? Joe Farr, your 4216 home sales specialist has five tips to sell your home faster and for the best price this spring. 1. First impressions. Whether it’s a lick of paint on your front door or some statement pots either side of it, first impressions really do count. Never underestimate the power of street appeal and go that extra mile to make a great first impression on prospective buyers. Drag out the high-pressure hose on the driveway to remove oil stains, and trim trees in your front garden. 2. De-clutter. It isn’t called a spring clean for nothing! Sort through your home, room by room, discarding clutter as you go. Not only will your home look better during the sale period but you’ll have less to pack away when you’re moving out. Consider hiring some temporary storage to get it out of the house during the inspection period. Storing larger, non-essential furniture items will make your home feel more spacious. 3. Spring Clean! Make sure your home is spotless. Polish your tap ware, remove cobwebs, wash your windows inside and out and dust your blinds. Take the time to polish your floors, mirrors and glass as clean reflective surfaces make a space feel larger. 4. Repairs and maintenance. Whether it’s that tap that’s been leaking for the past couple of months or some touch up work that’s needed on the paint front, now is the time to get onto repairs and maintenance around your home in anticipation of selling. 5. Make sure to call Joe Farr! Hiring the right agent can mean tens of thousands of dollars extra in your pocket at the end of the transaction. The right agent will implement the best marketing plan to attract the premium buyers, and will have the killer negotiation skills to get you the best possible price. With a great history of over 20 years in the 4216 area and with many recent record-breaking deals to his name, Joe Farr and his team at Farr Real Estate should be your first choice when choosing an agent to sell your home. To find out more about how Joe helps 4216 home owners sell for the highest prices, Google "Joe Farr" or call him on 022 400 680 or (07) 55 007 007.
