For some, allergen immunotherapy may be recommended. This involves carefully controlled exposure to allergens to build tolerance over time, and while it can be effective for hay fever and certain cases of asthma, it must only be undertaken under medical supervision. Lifestyle adjustments can also help: keeping windows closed during high-pollen days, washing bedding regularly to reduce dust mites, or using air purifiers indoors can all make a difference.
