Life in the shelter isn’t so bad, but I dream of a home where I can be the queen. I’m a bit of an independent spirit, preferring to do things my own way. But don’t let that fool you, I’ve got a goofy side too! I’ll keep you entertained with my silly antics and unexpected playfulness. I’d thrive best in a home where I can be the only feline, soaking up all your love and attention. I promise, I’m more than enough cat for any home. If you’re looking for a companion who is both self-sufficient and full of personality, I’m your girl. Rose Animal ID:140574 | Greyhound | Female | 2Yrs 11 M | White & Black Rose is a sweet and gentle soul who’s ready to start a brandnew chapter in life. Having missed out on the comfort of a loving home until now, she’s looking for a calm and patient family who can give her the time and space she needs to settle in and truly blossom. While Rose is still discovering the joys of toys and the everyday rhythms of home life, she’s already showing us just how brave and fun she is! With a little love and dedication, we know she’ll thrive and become a cherished part of your family. Rose would do best in a quiet home where all residents are aged 8 and older. She’s also hoping to be your one and only pet – that way, she can soak up all the love and attention she’s missed out on. Mimosa, Rose and more wonderful pets are waiting to meet you at AWL Coombabah on Shelter Road, Coombabah. Food stalls will be set up on the oval and the tuckshop will be open. Year levels will learn and perform dances from various decades. BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL (Excerpt from Nerang State School Centenary 1875-1975) “The Nerang district was settled in 1863. As it was sited on the river and also on the Coach Route it soon became a flourishing trading centre. The residents soon began to agitate for a school and with the introduction of the Compulsory Education Act in 1875, they were able to apply for the establishment of a school. A committee was formed under the chairmanship of Mr Theodore Lenneberg. The sum of not less than eighty pounds had to be raised before permission would be granted. By letter dated 11/2/1875 the Department gave their blessing and a contract was let to Mr James Phillips to construct a school and residence at the price of Three Hundred and Seventy Eight pound ($756). This was erected at the present school site on land which had been previously set aside by the government and has since been extended. The opening enrolment was 47 and the head teacher was Mr Thomas Johnson. Mark the date in your calendar 7 November 2025 for a day of fun!
