On Saturday 20th April, Ormeau Bulldogs AFL Football Club will be holding a fun day of football with all money raised going towards a great cause being the “Mark Hughes Foundation” and “Beanie for Brain Cancer”. Wayne (Senior) Fogden is a much loved major club sponsor, Assistant coach, Runner on game days and in current life has been dealing with the daily battle of dealing with terminal brain cancer. The day will kick off at lunchtime with Juniors and Younger youth playing AFL football with all members of the local community. A fancy dress theme on the day will provide laughter and most of all “Showing the Bulldogs Spirit”. In the afternoon Seniors and Masters will continue with the BIG GAME OF FOOTBALL and the afternoon will conclude with bands, food trucks and drinks available. The Ormeau Bulldogs AFL Football Club has put a great effort into helping Wayne in his journey of dealing with brain cancer by organising the event and supporting Brain Cancer awareness and aligning it with sports and well being. A large range of Hampers have been put together for the day with major companies supporting a fantastic cause.
